Got caught up in the moment.
Snagged. Both, caught sleeping, and hooked on my latest hobby, writing. Backup at work somewhat dissipating. Also, I've been quite successful at staying in the Present Moment, not making a catastrophe out of what ends up being a passing storm. Had many of those this week, including hail. My outside, bruised. My inside, slowly healing.
Had minor surgical procedure, again, on my neck this Tuesday. Bilateral cervical facet joint injections. Was voted "Patient of the Month" by the OR staff at the Center. Speaking of center, that's where I am aiming to be. Remaining centered, being mindful both in awareness of thought and more attentive to my surroundings. Moreover, have made much progress with connecting thought to feeling to behavior. Fully participating in my activities whether exercising, eating, or engaging with others.
Logging miles, in accomplishments, and physical feats (usually 4 mile Super ChallengeTM courtesy of Leslie Sansone). Feet remain fairly healthy, standing own ground. Over year has passed since successful Plasma Rich Platelet (PRP) injections for bilateral pereoneal and posterior tibial tendonitis that cramped my style. Applauded for my honesty and recognized that my behaviors need some improvement. I have the tools, and the material, just need the willing body, physically and mentally.
Thankful for others' support who treated me as their peer. Waves of exhaustion rocked and nausea hit, yet I did not go jumping overboard. Activities served to distract, yet not to extremes. Docked after receiving much needed reassurances. Treated myself, and stomach, gingerly. Much more balanced this week. Positives and negatives netting.

My 6 for you: "Beautiful thoughts for a beautiful day!" :) Happy SWS!
ReplyDeleteLove getting caught in the moment.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoyed your time there.
You have had a lot going on! Good for you staying in the moment and addressing one thing at a time.
ReplyDeleteI like Leslie Sansone DVD's too. I could do 3 mile but hurt my foot...not lucky to do 1 mile. But hope to improve soon.
Life is hard at times...but we can't give up!
